2012 Season Stats

2012: Played in 14 games with seven starts in his first season in a Buff uniform.  Had 39 total tackles with 15 solo stops.  Tallied 8.0 tackles for loss for 46 yards and recorded four sacks for 30 yards. Had three pass breakups, along with six quarterback hurries which tied for second-most on the team.  Johnson recovered one fumble and forced two.  Had a season-high seven tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss against Tarleton State. Earned second team all-conference honors.

Nassau Community College: Johnson graduated from Nassau Community College (New York) in 2001 with an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts, he played defensive end for the Lions under head coach Jermaine Miles. Johnson led the Lions to a combined 19-2 record during his two seasons at NCC while being a two-time All-Conference selection.

Bellport High School: Johnson graduated from Bellport HS (New York) in 2006, playing defensive end and tight end for the Clippers. He helped lead the team to an undefeated Long Island Championship in his only season of varsity football as a senior.

Personal: Born August 13, 1988.  Parents are Hope and Kevin Johnson.  Has two siblings Keisha Henderson and Christina Johnson.  Majoring in Marketing at West Texas A&M.
