Biography

2020: Appeared in the season opener against Oklahoma Panhandle State. Made 1 of 2 extra point attempts against the Aggies. 

2019: Redshirted.

Canyon High School: Graduated in 2019 where he was an all-district specialist for the Eagles. As a senior, he earned First Team All-District honors where he had two punts over 60 yards including a 65 yarder. Was also named the CHS Special Teams MVP. Invited and tried out for Under Armour All-American game. Also lettered in soccer. 
 
Personal: Born April 11, 2001. Son of Jena and Steve Welch. Has two siblings. Plans on majoring in education at WT.
