Biography

Career:  Has played and started all 35 games of his career on the offensive line.

2015: Played and started all 10 games last season at center for the Buffs...Named second team all-conference for the second-straight year...Helped block for a line proctecting Ethan Brinkley who had the fifth-highest completion percentage in the nation last season (66.8) and Geremy Alridge-Mitchell who rushed for 1,296 yards who was third in the LSC and 15th nationally...Named to LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2014: Played and started all 11 games at center for the Buffs.  Earned second team all-conference honors.  Recorded one assisted tackle against Midwestern State (Oct. 11). 

2013: Played and started all 14 games at center for the Buffs as a redshirt freshman.  Helped lead an offensive line that blocked for the 2013 Harlon Hill Runner-Up quarterback and an AFCA Football All-American who passed for 5,401 yards setting a NCAA Division II record and 53 touchdown passes which was third-most in Division II.

2012: Redshirted.

Johnson High School: Played on the offensive line for head coach Ron Rittiman.  Helped lead his team to the playoffs for the first time in school history.  Earned first team all-district honors in 2011 and second team all-city in 2012. Also wrestled and played baseball. 

Personal: Born February 11, 1994.  Parents are Sheila and Roger Carson.  Has one sibling Carolyn.  Plans on majoring in criminal justice at WT.
