2014 Season Stats

Career: Has played in 31 games with 43 total tackles, 26 solo stops, one forced fumble and one interception.

2014: Played in 10 games with four starts in the secondary.  Had 22 total tackles with 12 solo stops.  Tallied one tackle for loss for four yards.  Had one interception for 29 yards against McMurry (Oct. 4).  Had a season-high five solo stops at Texas A&M-Commerce (Oct. 18).  Recorded a season-high seven total tackles at Eastern New Mexico (Nov. 15).  Had two pass breakups at Texas A&M-Commerce (Oct. 18).

2013: Played in the first six games before a season-ending injury at Tarleton State sidelined him the rest of the season.  Before his injury, tallied eight total tackles with four solo stops, along with one tackle for loss and one pass breakup.

2012: Played in all 15 games as a redshirt freshman. Tallied 10 solo tackles and 13 total tackles.  Had one forced fumble at Texas A&M-Commerce.  Recorded a season-high three solo stops at Texas A&M-Commerce.

2011: Redshirted.

Allen High School: Hayes graduated from Allen HS (Texas) in 2011, playing wide receiver and corner for the Eagles under head coach Tom Westerberg. He led the Eagles to a 10-2 record as a senior and was named an All-District selection.

Personal: Born September 16 ,1993.  Parents are Anthony and Diana Hayes.  Has two siblings Andrew and Angela.  Majoring in psychology at West Texas A&M.
