Biography

GENERAL: This California transfer will be looked upon to lend his experience to the Buffs[apos] secondary unit.

JUNIOR COLLEGE:Burrell earned first-team all-conference honors in 2008while at San Francisco City College. As afreshman in 2007, he helped lead the Rams to the 2007 Junior College National Championship.

HIGH SCHOOL: Burrell played at a variety of positions while at Carlmont (Calif.) HS, seeing time at receiver, free safety as well as being a return specialist. He helped lead head coach Ben White[apos]s Scots to a 9-2 record in 2006, earning first-team all-county as a free safety while earning team MVP honors. He also earned all-county honors as both a sophomore and junior.

MAJOR: Burrell is a General Business major at WTAMU.
