At North Platte Community College:
Lewis comes to Canyon from North Platte Community College in North Platte, Nebraska. The 6'3 guard helped he Knights to an overall record of 22-8 last season as they made an appearance in the NJCAA Region IX Tournament. Lewis saw time in 28 contests with 15 starts as a sophomore in 2016-17, averaging 10.7 points and 3.7 rebounds per game while shooting 51.4% from the field including 34.4% from behind the arc and 77% from the free throw line. During his time at NPCC, the Knights went 41-21 as Lewis averaged 11 points, four rebounds and three assists per contest while shooting 51% from the floor including 34% from long range and 77% from the charity stripe.

At Arlington Martin High School:
Lewis registered a standout prep career at Arlington Martin High School where he was a two-year starter for the Warriors and a 1^st Team All-District performer.
