2016 Season Stats

2016: Had a great first season behind the dish, at DH and at first base for the Buffs ... Named to the LSC Championship All-Tournament Team ... Played in 42 games with 40 starts for the Buffs ... Hit .292 on 40 of 137 with 24 runs scored ... Tied for the team-high in doubles with 16 ranking fourth in the LSC and second in the LSC in doubles per game at 0.38 ... Drove in 23 while slugging .409 and reaching base at a .386 clip ... Walked 14 times and was hit by seven pitches ranking second on the team in HBP ... Has 249 putouts with 22 assists and seven errors (.975) ... Had 12 multi-hit games with a season-high three hits coming against Cameron (4/17) ... Had a season-long seven-game hitting streak and currently is in the midst of a three-game hitting streak heading into the season ... Finished tied for second on the team in multi-RBI games with seven and a season-high three RBI at Eastern New Mexico (3/25) ... Reached base in ten-straight games last season and reached in the final three of the season.

Gonzaga: Appeared in 18 games as a sophomore, starting four…hit .174 with four hits, five runs scored, two hits for extra bases, and six RBIs...slugging percentage of .348 doubled batting average…started and made season debut Feb. 15 at CSUN…set career highs with four RBIs and two hits while smacking first home run during game two at UC Davis Feb. 21…picked up a hit and scored a run as a pinch hitter Feb. 27 versus Bakersfield…tallied an RBI and scored a run on a hit by pitch as a pinch hitter April 24 at Santa Clara…scored career-best two runs while picking up an RBI double May 9 versus pacific…started at Oregon May 13.  Played in 14 games as a freshman and started two… had 32 put outs, ended the year with a perfect fielding percentage and had an on base percentage of .222…played his first game for the Zags on Feb. 23 against Incarnate Word…made first start behind the plate Feb. 27 against Oklahoma State, making 10 putouts.

Tahoma High School: Attended Tahoma High School in Covington, Wash… Named South Puget Sound All-League first team as a senior… led the state of Washington in 2013 with a .517 batting average… served as captain senior year… participated in Washington State’s Senior All-Star Game… maintained a .633 on base percentage.
