2016: Saw action in 16 games going 2-0 with a 2.61 ERA which was the third-lowest ERA on the team ... Had one combined shutout and a save at Eastern New Mexico (3/24) ... Pitched 20.2 innings, allowing 21 hits 14 runs  - six earned, walked ten and fanned 15 ... Teams hit .263 against him as he tallied one wild pitch and hit three batters ... Pitched a season-high 3.1 innings in the save at ENMU ... Earned his first win of the season in relief at Cameron (3/14) ... Won the Lubbock Christian game in Canyon in relief 7-6 pitching 2.1 innings.

Seward County Community College: Went 9-2 with a 4.52 ERA in 72 innings while striking out 65 during his two-year career.

Canyon High School: As a senior, Garland was named to the all-district after pitching in 20 games with a 1.57 ERA… Struck out 62 batters in 53 innings.

Personal: Born on July 19, 1994… Parents are Tom and Tif Garland… Has three siblings… Plans on majoring in accounting at WT.
