2019 (Junior):
The Sugarland product was a staple on the diamond for the Buffs in 2019, seeing time in 29 contests with 24 starts. He hit .364 on the season with three doubles, one triple and one homerun to drive in 12 RBI to go along with 11 walks for an on-base clip of .457 while registering 18 putouts and 16 assists for a fielding percentage of .872.

At Kansas State:
Schuetz attended Kansas State in 2018.

At San Jacinto College:
Schuetz had two standout seasons at San Jacinto College in Pasadena, Texas where he played in the infield and the outfield for the Gators under head coach Tom Arrington. As a sophomore, he hit .271 with four doubles and a homerun to drive in 13 RBI while scoring 16 runs for a slugging percentage of .353. Defensively he registered 22 putouts with no errors for a perfect fielding clip of 1.000.
 
As a freshman in 2016, Schuetz batted .371 with five doubles, two triples and a homerun for a slugging percentage of .495 as the Gators finished second at the NJCAA World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado. He was an All-Conference selection while also picking up an invite to the Regional All Star Game.
 
At Kempner High School
Schuetz registered a standout prep career at Kempner High School in Sugar Land under head coach Marcus Jones as the talented utility player was named to the Texas All-State First Team as a second baseman after hitting .446 with nine doubles, two triples and nine homeruns to drive in 35 RBI. He was also named the All Greater Houston Hitter of the Year as a senior. Schuetz was a three-time All District performer for the Cougars.
