2013: Saw action in six games with one start and tallied an 0.66 ERA...Pitched 13.2 innings allowing six hits, two runs - one earned, seven walks and he fanned 13...The opposition hit just .136 against him.

2012: Saw action in nine games with four starts...Tallied 22.1 innings with 11 strikeouts and a 1-3 record.

Cisco Junior College: Diaz attended Cisco Junior College where he played for coach David White. 
 
High School: Diaz made the playoffs three out of his four years at Caprock High School.  He also had the highest batting average in the region at .506, and was first team all district all four years.  Diaz was also the Amarillo Baseball Player of the year in 2009.
 
Personal Information: Diaz is the son of Paul and Michele Diaz, and has two siblings:  Cameron, and Vincent...Majoring in sports and exercise science.
