Ochoa spent the Fall of 2021 at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque...

At El Paso Community College:
Ochoa spent one season at El Paso Community College where he hit .348 for the Conquistadors with nine doubles, five triples and nine homeruns to drive in 40 RBI for a slugging percentage of .634 to go along with 27 walks and three stolen bases... Defensively he registered a .933 fielding percentage with 76 putouts and 126 assists in the infield...

At Howard College:
