2022:
Davis made three appearances out of the bullpen for the Buffaloes during his true freshman campaign in 2022. The Atlanta native allowed three earned runs on two hits with two walks and four strikeouts during his 2.1 innings of work for an opposing batting average of .286.

At Maynard H. Jackson High School:
Davis came to Canyon following a standout prep career at Maynard H. Jackson High School in Atlanta, Georgia where he played all over the field for the Jaguars under head coach Desmond Stegall. He was a First Team All-Region selection while being named All-APS and Second Team All-State. He hit .349 with four homeruns and 28 RBI while holding a 2.95 ERA on the mound as a senior.

Born May 21, 2003. Sam is the son of Mark and Sylvia Davis and he has one sibling, Reuben. Majoring in General Business at West Texas A&M.
