2023:
Courtney did not see time on the diamond for the Buffaloes during the 2023 campaign.

At Southeast Community College:
Comes to Canyon following two seasons at Southeast Community College in Beatrice, Nebraska under head coach Dion Parks. He made 22 appearances on the mound, tossing 30.2 innings with 47 strikeouts for an average of 13.79 per nine innings.

At Vernon College:
Spent his true freshman campaign at Vernon College where he made two appearances, striking out two during his 1.1 innings of work.

At Georgetown High School:
Graduated from Georgetown High School in 2019 where he helped the Eagles to the 5A State Championship Game during his senior season under head coach Adam Foster.

Personal:
Born June 4, 2000. Son of Christopher and Heather Courtney and he has three siblings: Kevin, Alex and Skylar. Majoring in Sports & Exercise Science at WT.
