Came to Canyon from Odessa College (Texas) where he pitched for the Wranglers under head coach Kurtis Lay... Honorable Mention All-Conference selection in 2023, registering a 4.16 ERA with 46 strikeouts in his 49.2 innings of work... Graduated from Odessa College with an Associates of Business degree...

At Trinity Christian High School:
Graduated from Trinity Christian High School (Texas) in 2021... Pitched and played shortstop for the Lions under skipper Justin Phillips... Registered a 0.40 ERA during his senior campaign to earn Second Team All-State and First Team All-District. honors...
