West Texas A&M University Athletics

UTSA: Received the call from the bullpen 10 times in first season at UTSA and posted a 12.71 ERA.  Worked 5.2 innings. Went 1.1 innings at Texas (2/17) and gave up a season-high four runs, two of which are earned.  Fanned a season-high three against Incarnate Word (2/24).

Western Texas College: Logged 69.1 innings as a sophomore and led the team with 87 strikeouts.  Made 13 appearances, including 11 starts, and posted a 5-5 record with four complete games.  Threw a no-hitter against Odessa (Feb. 28), while collecting eight strikeouts.  Tossed 49.2 innings in 10 appearances as a freshman and struck out 40 batters.

Cooper High School: Played at Cooper High School.  Prep honors included All-South Plains, all-city and all-district, as well as 2011 District Pitcher of the Year.

Personal: Born July 3, 1993.  Parents are Don and Jamie Savage.  Has one sibling who plays football at Wayland Baptist.
