Biography

2019 (Redshirt):
Dayton redshirted for the Buffaloes during the 2019 campaign.

At Golden West College:
Dayton coame to Canyon from Golden West College in Huntington Beach, California where he played the outfield for the Rustlers under head coach Bert Villarreal. As a sophomore in 2018, Dayton hit .263 with four doubles, one triple and one homerun to drive in 14 RBI for a slugging percentage of .354. 

At Wylie High School:
Dayton registered a standout prep career at Wylie High School where he played multiple positions for the Pirates under the guidance of head coach Jonathan Cantu. He was a four-year letterwinner at WHS while helping the Pirates to a Regional Championship as he earned All-State accolades.

Personal:
Born January 31, 1998. Son of Alan and Denise Dayton and he has four siblings. Majoring in Finance at West Texas A&M.
