At Alabama:
Kaufman makes the move back to the Lone Star State following a great two-year run at the University of Alabama. As a junior in 2018, Kaufman played in 26 games, starting 13 of those contests primarily as a designated hitter. He hit .189 on the season with four doubles and five RBI with 14 total bases for a slugging percentage of .264 to go along with nine walks for an on-base clip of .333. Behind the plate Kaufman registered 17 putouts and three assists with no errors for a perfect fielding percentage. 

As a sophomore in 2016, Kaufman ranked second overall for the Tide in average at .301 across his 44 games played, including 39 starts. He collected two doubles and two home runs while adding 14 RBI and 24 runs scored with two stolen bases in as many attempts. Kaufman drew 11 walks and was hit by a team-leading 11 pitches as part of his .396 on-base percentage that ranked second for Bama, he batted .258 in 27 SEC contests with 25 starts. Kaufman was also a standout in the classroom in Tuscaloosa, earning SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll honors twice.

At Paris Junior College:
Kaufman spent his true-freshman campaign at Paris Junior College in Paris, Texas, where he saw action in 40 games. He hit .293 with 12 doubles, a triple and three home runs to drive in 21 RBI to go along with nine walks.

At Forney High School:
Kaufman was a First Team All-District performer behind the plate for the Jackrabbits under head coach Jason Farrow.

Personal:
Born December 15, 1996. Son of Brandon and Aileen Kaufman and he has one sister, Kamryn. Received a Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Alabama in December of 2018. He is pursuing a Masters of Business Administration from West Texas A&M.
