At Red Oak High School:
Trotter comes to Canyon following a stellar prep career at Red Oak High School where he played multiple positions for the Hawks under head coach Jay Johnson. He was a two-time Second Team All-District performer for the Hawks on the diamond.

Personal:
Born February 25, 2000. Son of Estavion and Janice Trotter and he has three siblings. Majoring in Mechanical Engineering at West Texas A&M.
