2021:
LaCourse redshirted for the Buffs during the 2021 season.

At Western Texas College:
LaCourse came to Canyon following two seasons at Western Texas College in Snyder, Texas where he played in the outfield while also working behind the plate for the Westerners under head coach Kenny Jackson. He hit .281 for the Westerners during a pandemic-shortened 2020 campaign with a pair of doubles to drive in seven RBI. LaCourse hit .286 during his true freshman season, registering six doubles with two triples and a pair of homeruns to drive in 21 RBI for a slugging percentage of .400.

At Earl Warren High School:
LaCourse graduated from Earl Warren High School in San Antonio in 2017. He was a Second Team All-District selection for the Warriors under head coach Brandon Bippert during his senior season where he hit .345 with 17 RBI.

Personal:
Born May 31, 1999. Son of Victor and Sandy LaCourse and he has two siblings, Victor Jr. and Amanda. Majoring in Communications at WT.
