District 27-4A District Most Valuable Player as a senior for the Panthers under head coach Kris Cavazos at Navarro High School. Also excelled in the classroom as an Academic All-State honoree.

Born January 15, 2004. Son of Jay and Kristi Monkerud and he has one brother, Kaden. Majoring in Accounting & Finance at West Texas A&M.
