2021:
Madrid continued to be a fixture in the lineup for the Buffs during the 2021 season as the El Paso native saw time in 43 games with 42 starts up the middle. He hit .290 on the season with six doubles and one triple to drive in 26 RBI to go along with 22 walks and six hit-by-pitches for an on-base percentage of .439. Madrid stole six bases while tallying 52 putouts and 96 assists for a fielding percentage of .937. Madrid was an Honorable Mention All-Lone Star Conference selection for the Buffs.

2020:
Madrid stepped into the starting shortstop role for the Buffaloes during his first season in Canyon in 2020. The El Paso native led the team with a .403 batting average with eight doubles and three homeruns to drive in 16 RBI to go along with 12 walks and three hit-by-pitches for an on-base clip of .500. Madrid went 2-for-3 on stolen bases while registering 40 putouts with 43 assists and just three errors for a fielding clip of .965.

At Western Texas College:
Madrid saw time in 101 contests over two seasons at West Texas College in Snyder, Texas as the El Paso native hit .322 for the Westerners with 23 doubles, five triples and two homeruns to drive in 60 career RBI for a slugging percentage of .440 to go along with 54 walks and 23 stolen bases on 30 attempts for an on-base clip of .435. 

At El Dorado High School:
Madrid graduated from El Dorado High School in 2017 where he played up the middle for the Aztecs under head coach Victor Rodriguez. He was an Honorable Mention All-District selection for the Aztecs.

Born August 25, 1999. Son of Gilbert Madrid and Sandra Salazar and he has three siblings, Ulysses, Orion and Leo. Majoring in Finance at West Texas A&M.
