Biography

2019 (Sophomore):
Appeared in 15 games including four starts for the Lady Buffs hitting .250 with one home run and five RBI for a slugging percentage of .400 with seven walks for a .444 on-base percentage. She also recorded five putouts and 13 assists with one error for a fielding percentage of .947. The Arp, Texas native hit her first career homerun against Lubbock Christian (2/26) with a two-run shot in the Top of the 5thin WT’s 11-10 comeback victory.

2018 (Freshman):
Holland saw time in 10 contests with three starts for the Lady Buffs as a true freshman in 2018. She hit .100 with one double and one RBI for two total bases and a slugging percentage of .200 to go along with two walks for an on-base clip of .308. Defensively, Holland registered one putout and 11 assists with just one error at the hot corner for a fielding clip of .923.

At Arp High School:
Holland came to Canyon following a standout prep career at Arp High School where she played numerous positions for the Tigers under head coach and mother Christel Holland. She was a First Team All-District pitcher for the Tigers as a senior while being named the team’s Offensive MVP. Holland was an All-State selection as a junior while also excelling in the classroom as an Academic All-District honoree. She also lettered in volleyball, basketball and track at AHS.

Personal:
Born November 11th. Daughter of Wes and Christel Holland and she has two siblings, Rusty and Alex. Majoring in History at West Texas A&M.
