2018-19 (Senior)
Gach had a historic senior season for the Buffs as he appeared in all 38 games with 37 starts where he averaged a career-high 30.1 minutes per contest. He averaged 11.5 points per contest going 127-of-367 from the floor, 88-of-288 from three-point range and 95-of-123 from the free throw to go along with 194 rebounds (5.1/avg), 47 assists, 32 steals and 27 blocks. His 288 attempts from beyond the arc as the second-most in a single season in program history behind Jordan Evans’ 327 from 2017-18. He scored in double figures in 22 games including a career-high 31 points against Cameron (11/29/18) gong 8-of-16 from three making him the fifth Buff in program history to make eight threes in a single game. Finished the season with three double-doubles including a 12-point, 10 rebound performance against Drury (11/2) in the season opener.
2017-18 (Junior):
Gach made an immediate impact for the Buffs appearing in 36 including 33 starts as transfer in 2017-18. He averaged 26.8 minutes per game where he scored 8.6 points per game going 90-of-241 (37.3%) from the floor, 64-of-185 (34.6%) from three-point range and 67-of-91 from the free-throw line. He also pulled down 170 rebounds, 64 assists, 28 blocks and 20 steals. Reached double figures in scoring 15 times including a career-high 21 at Cameron on Feb. 8 where he went 5-of-9 from the floor and 7-of-8 from the charity stripe. He scored in double figures in all five of WT’s NCAA Tournament Games including a 16-point performance against UT Permian Basin in the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Final at the First United Bank Center.
At North Dakota State College of Science:
Gach comes to Canyon following a pair of standout seasons at North Dakota State College of Science where he averaged 15.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game for the Wildcats as he was second in the country in 3-pt field goals made (132) as a sophomore in 2016-17. He saw time in 33 games last season and shot 42.2% from the floor, 40.7% from behind the arc and 77.8% from the free throw line. Gach registered five or more made threes in 16 games last season and hit a season-high eight on January 23rd against Williston State College, the talented guard scored a career high 28 points against Minnesota State-Fergus Falls on November 9th.
The Austin, Minnesota product registered 789 career points (11.6/game) in his two seasons in Fargo where he led the Wildcats to a school record for wins (31-2) last season as they claimed the Mon-Dak Championship (12-0) and the NJCAA Region XIII Title and finished as the District XI Runner-Up. NDSCS ranked in the Top-15 nationally in total points (3,154), points per game (95.6), made FG per game (35), 3PT made per game (12), 3PT attempted per game (29.7), 3PT percentage (40.3), FT percentage (75), and assists per game (19.5).
