2023 (Freshman): Started in all 58 games while earning conference and regional accolades... Had a .362 batting average with 185 at bats, 48 runs, 67 hits, 14 doubles, one home run, 27 RBI, and a slugging percentage of (.454)... Had a season high of four hits in five at bats and nine putouts against St. Mary's (3/31)... 

Lincoln High School: Gabie McConnell played infield under head coach Tim Hoover. In her senior year, McConnell helped the Patriots to a second state championship in three years. McConnell was named to the All-State team and currently holds the program's stolen base record (30). Gabie batted .423 with a .533 on base percentage, and 40 runs scored in her senior year while earning a fourth-straight All-Tournament team honor. 

Personal: Born July 10, 2003... Gabie is the daughter of Mark and Sharon McConnell and has two siblings, Natalle and Sam.  McConnell plans to study health sciences at West Texas A&M.
