West Texas A&M University Athletics

2018 (Sophomore):
Washburn saw limited time on the field for the Buffs during his sophomore season in 2018, seeing the field in 12 contests. He hit .750 on the season with three hits in four at-bats including a double and a triple to drive in one RBI for a slugging percentage of 1.500. Defensively he tallied two putouts and two assists in the middle infield for a perfect fielding percentage.

2017 (Redshirt):
Washburn redshirted for the Buffs in 2017.

At Trinidad State College:
Washburn played one year at Trinidad State Junior College in Trinidad, Colorado as  he helped the Trojans to the Region IX championship and a district tournament appearance.

At Raton High School:
Played for Mike Marez at Raton High School and earned All-State and All-District honors. Went 21-10 as a senior with a run to the State Semifinals while going 17-12 as a junior.

Personal:
Born August 26, 1997. Parents are Crystal and Bruce Washburn and he has one brother, Blake. Majoring in Civil Engineering at West Texas A&M.
