Made his WT debut at St. Edward's (Feb. 1)... Season-best three strikeouts against Wayland Baptist (Feb. 8) in WT's home opener... 

At Temple College:
Came to Canyon following two seasons at Temple College... Appeared in 11 games with four starts for the Leopards in 2023... 2-2 record with 29 strikeouts in 31.2 innings of work... Averaged 8.24 strikeouts per nine innings...

At Pepperdine:
Started his collegiate career at Pepperdine... Made 15 appearances with three starts as a true freshman for the Waves... 4.28 ERA with 19 strikeouts in 27.1 innings of work... Season-high 3.2 innings against UCLA (4/12/22)... Season-high three strikeouts in 3.1 innings against Portland (5/22/22)... Received WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll honors... Pepperdine Scholar Athlete... 

At Regents School of Austin:
Graduated from Regents School of Austin in 2021... Played four years of varsity baseball... For his career had 117.4 innings pitched with 153 strikeouts and 36 walks... Named Second Team All-State second his senior year... As a senior had a 1.39 ERA, 55.1 innings pitched, 88 strikeouts and nine walks... Helped team win regional championship his senior year...

Born January 1, 2003... Son of Christopher and Kimberly Luikart and he has two siblings, Shea and Shelby... Expected to major in Finance at West Texas A&M...
