Dominic Yearego begins his first season as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Buffs during the 2021 season. The program's all-time saves leader is currently a member of the Oakland Athletics organization after receiving a free-agent contract following his career in Maroon & White.
The Prosper, Texas native finished his WT career with an overall record of 11-2, registering a 2.87 ERA with 154 strikeouts in his 131.1 innings of work for an opposing batting average of .222 as he set a new program record with 23 career saves. He made 15 appearances for the Athletics in the Arizona League in 2019, registering a 2.16 ERA with 38 strikeouts and a save during 25.0 innings of work.
