At Richland College:
Silvia comes to Canyon from Richland College in Richardson, Texas where he was an All-Conference catcher and pitcher for the Thunder Ducks under head coach Guy Simmons. He made six appearances with one start for Richland during the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, tossing 13.0 innings with 11 strikeouts and a 4.15 ERA. Silvia also made seven plate appearances with a double and a homerun to drive in a pair of RBI for a slugging percentage of 1.167. As a freshman in 2019, Silva hit .261 with one homerun to drive in four RBI with nine total bases.

At All Saints Episcopal School:
Silvia graduated from the All Saints Episcopal School in Burleson, Texas in 2018 where he pitched, caught and played the outfield for the Saints under head coach Mike Fehler. He was named the TAPPS Class 5A Offensive Player of the Year during his senior season. Silvia also lettered in football and wrestling for the Saints where he led the football team to a pair of TAPPS State Championships on the gridiron while also claiming four wrestling State Titles.

Born December 13, 1999. Son of Ken and Vivian Silvia and he has three siblings: Brandon, Michelle and Brie. Majoring in Business Management with a minor in Finance at West Texas A&M.
