Mason redshirted for the Buffaloes during the 2022 campaign.

At Western Texas College:
Mason came to Canyon following two seasons at Western Texas College in Snyder, Texas.

At Martin High School:
Mason is a 2019 graduate of Arlington Martin High School where he pitched for the Vikings under head coach Paul Kino. He was an All-District selection and Pitcher of the Year for the Vikings during his senior campaign.

Personal:
Born March 21, 2001. Cade is the son of Robert and Amy Mason and he has one brother, Cole. He is majoring in Psychology at West Texas A&M.
