2018 (Junior):
Was a key piece out of the West Texas A&M bullpen as the junior saw time in 23 contest in relief, finishing the season with a 6-2 overall record with six saves to tie for the team lead. Baker registered a 3.75 ERA in his 50.1 innings of work for the Buffs, allowing 48 hits and 26 runs (21 earned) with 54 strikeouts and an opposing batting average of .250. Baker earned Honorable Mention All-Lone Star Conference accolades for his efforts on the mound.

2017 (Redshirt):
Earned a a medical redshirt for the Buffs during the 2017 campaign.

At Cisco College:
Played at Cisco College for head coach David White. Helped lead his team to the regional championship.

At Canyon High School:
Baker registered a standout prep career at nearby Canyon High School where he helped the Eagles to a 21-8 overall record as a senior for head coach John Dean.

Personal:
Born October 6, 1995. Parents are Jeff and Cindy Baker and he has two siblings. Majoring in Sports & Exercise Science at West Texas A&M.
