Houston: Made seven relief appearances, totaling 9.2 innings...Finished year 1-0 with an 8.38 ERA...Notched first win as a Cougar in 1.2 innings out of the bullpen vs. Lamar (March 24)... Helped Cougars to an American Athletic Conference title, their second consecutive 40-win season and to a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament... Was part of a pitching staff that ranked first in the conference with a 2.89 ERA.

Lamar Community College: Played two seasons under head coach, Scott Crampton at Lamar Community College...Freshman year: had a .82 WHIP, registered 95 strikeouts, maintained a 1.81 ERA in 84 innings for the Runnin' Lopes in the spring of 2013...Sophomore campaign: had a .97 WHIP, 104 strikeouts, and a 2.00 ERA in 80 innings...Went 9-2 his freshman year and 9-1 in his sophomore year totaling a record of 18-3...Led his team to an Empire Conference Championship in 2014...Compiled a career ERA was 1.92, 200 strikeouts, .89 WHIP, 164 innings pitched, and an opponent batting average of .158 OBA...Named First Team All-Region honors both seasons...Played for the JUCO National team in summer of 2014.
