Lamar CC: Played two years at Lamar College where he earned all-region honors both years. 

Northglenn High School: Was a four year letter winner for coach Hugo Garcia ... Went 14-5 as a senior and playing utility/shortstop, outfield and pitched ... Earned all-conference honors all four years and was named Offensive MVP in 2012 and 2013 ... Also played football lettering three times.

Personal: Born Nov. 27, 1995 ... Parents are David and Raynette Adkins ... Has one sister ... Plans on majoring in electrical engineering at WT with a minor in mathematics.
