2018: Appeared in all 11 games including 8 starts recording 31 tackles (15 solo, 16 assisted), 3 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, two pass breakup and a blocked punt. Recorded a season-high 9 tackles in the season finale against MSU Texas. Recorded 1.5 tackles for loss against defending National Champions Texas A&M-Commerce on Oct. 27. Blocked his first career punt against UT Permian Basin on Oct. 6. Recorded 0.5 sacks in WT’s come-from-behind victory over Texas A&M-Kingsville in the Buffs final game at Kimbrough Memorial Stadium.

Brewer High School: Was an all-district performer for head coach Wade Griffin. Recorded 13 sacks during his senior season that saw him named the team’s Most Valuable Player along with 1^st Team All-District honors. Also earned 1^st Team All-District recognition as a junior. Was twice named to the Academic All-District team.
 
Personal: Born on December 21, 2000. Son of Laurent and Shanel Swanon. Has three siblings. Plans on majoring in sports and exercise science.
