High School: Graduated from Wylie High School in 2016 where he played on the offensive line for head coach Bill Howard. He earned first team all-district honors as a junior and second team honors as a senior. He also earned second team academic all-state accolades as a senior .He excelled on the baseball field where he earned first team all-district honors in 2015.

Personal: Born on January 4, 1998. Son of Robert and Lisa Ulmer. Has two siblings: Maclane and Ralston. Plans on majoring in engineering at West Texas A&M.
