2018 (Junior):
Nakagawa was a staple in the middle of the infield for the Buffs during his junior campaign in 2018 as he hit .281 with nine doubles, two triples and five homeruns to drive in 24 RBI with 67 total bases for a slugging percentage of .482 to go along with 19 walks and 12 hit-by-pitch for an on-base clip of .409. Defensively, he registered 57 putouts and 127 assists with 18 errors for a fielding percentage of .911.

At Central Arizona:
Nakagawa came to Canyon in the Fall of 2017 following two seasons at Central Arizona College for head coach Anthony Gillich.

At Mililani High School:
Registered a stellar prep career at Mililani High School where he played shortstop for the Trojans and head coach Mark Hiroyama.

Personal:
Born September 30, 1997. Parents are Jenell and Charles Nakagawa and he has two siblings. Majoring in Criminal Justice at West Texas A&M.
