2018 (Junior):
Baxter was a staple in the lineup for the Buffs during his junior campaign in 2017 as he led the team with a .362 batting average on the way to the 2017 Lone Star Conference Championship. He registered 15 doubles, two triples and a homerun to drive in 33 RBI for a slugging percentage of .535 to go along with 21 walks for an on-base clip of .478. Baxter was a force behind the plate for the Buffs, tallying 185 putouts and seven assists with just three fielding errors for a clip of .985. Baxter was named a Second Team NCWBA All-Region selection while picking up First Team All-Lone Star Conference accolades.

At Cochise College:
Baxter came to Canyon in the Fall of 2017 after two years at Cochise College for head coach Todd Inglehart. He earned an associates degree there after beginning at the University of Utah. 

At Wasatch High School:
Two-time Second Team All-State and two-time All-Region selection at Wasatch High School. He hit .409 as a senior with six doubles, two triples, two home runs for an .487 on-base percentage and a .651 slugging percentage. Baxter was a two-time team MVP and the Offensive MVP of the Underclassmen All-Star game. Finished his prep career with a .424 batting average and 55 RBI. Also a Second-Team All-State and All-Region football player, registered 101 tackles (10.1 average) with 4.0 sacks as a senior. Led Utah Class 3A with 166 tackles as a junior (15.1 average) Also excelled in the classroom as an Academic All-State selection as a senior in football, maintaining a 4.0 over his high school career while serving as the Valedictorian of his senior class.

Born December 20, 1995. Parents are Danielle and Jared Baxter and he has three siblings. Majoring in Civil Engineering at WT.
