New Mexico JC: Played two years for head coach Jake McCarter as New Mexico Junior College where he helped lead his team to a 38-21 record in two seasons ... Named WJCAC Honorable Mention and helped NMJC lead junior college in home runs as a team.

Americas High School: Played high school baseball at Americas HS where he helped lead the team to a 28-7 record as a senior for head coach Jesse Munoz ... Named El Paso Times Player of the Year and also earned Newcomer of the Year as a freshman.
