2017 Outdoor:
Finished 17th in the 10,000-meters at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships running 31:34.04 during the first night of competition. Earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region Honors in the 10,000-meters after running a school record time of 29:27.04 at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival. Earned 1st Team All-Lone Star Conference honors after winning the 5,000-meters and 10,000m as the Buffs finished third as a team. He broke Joseph Kemei’s 1978 school record over 5,000m at The Penn Relays running 14:34.31.

2017 Indoor: Earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) 2nd Team All-American honors after finishing 9th in both the 5,000-meters and 3,000-meters at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Ala. He broke the Lone Star Conference and school record in the 3,000m running 8:07.59 two days after running 14:23.07 in the 5,000m. Earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the 5,000m.  Was named First Team All-Lone Star Conference honors after winning the 3,000m at the indoor championships leading wire-to-wire to run 8:31.89. Broke his second school record of the indoor season running 14:12.65 over 5,000m at the GVSU Big Meet Saturday. Shattered the then-school record in the 3,000-meters in his debut for the Buffs running 8:12.81 at the Crimson & Gold Invitational in his first meet in Maroon and White. Ran 8:20.06 over 3,000m at the 2017 Armory Track Invitational in New York City, NY.

2016 Cross Country: Finished 60th at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships hosted by St. Leo covering the 10,000-meters course in 31:41.8 as the Buffs finished 20th as a team. Earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors after finishing 17th at the South Central Region Championships where he covered the 10,000-meter course in 32:12. Earned All-Conference honors and was named Lone Star Conference Newcomer of the Year after finishing third at the LSC Championships covering the 8,000-meter course in 25:08.0. Finished 10th at the FHSU Tiger Open after falling down midway through the race finishing in a time of 24:35.5. Finished 31st in the University Race at the OSU Cowboy Jamboree in a time of 27:04.1. Started the season off with a 10th place finish at the Border Classic covering the 5,000-meter course in 16:03.6.

Before WT: Ran 14 minutes 6 seconds for 5,000-meters at the BMC Grand Prix in May 2016. Also has personal bests of 29 minute 40 seconds in the 10,000-meters and 3 minutes 50.79 seconds in the 1,500-meters.

High School: Graduated from Mill Hill County High School in London, England in 2008.

Personal: Born on August 1, 1990. Son of Andres and Christina Hind. Has two siblings. Plans on pursuing a Masters of Business Administration at West Texas A&M.
