2016 Season Stats

Career: Has played in 21 games with three rushes, six catches for 22 yards and a punt return of 11 yards ... Defensively, tallied six tackles with four solo stops, along with one fumble recovery, one pass breakup and one blocked kick.

2016: Played in all 11 games in the backfield and on special teams ... Had three rushes on the year with six catches for 22 yards and one punt return for 11 yards ... Tallied three solo tackles with one pass breakup and blocked a kick at Oklahoma Panhandle State (10/15).

2015: Saw action in all 10 games mostly on special teams for the Buffs...Recorded three tackles and one solo stop...Had a fumble recovery at Texas A&M-Kingsville in a heavy rain storm.

2014: Redshirted.

Lakewood High School: Earned first team all-conference and was on the honor roll for head coach Corey Moore.  Helped lead his team to a 9-1 record as a senior.  Also competed in track and field.

Personal: Born Feb. 4, 1995.  Parents are Elizabeth and Warren Witherspoon.  Has one sibling.  Plans on majoring in sports and exercise science at WT with a minor in business.
