2017 Outdoor: Earned All-American honors for the fifth time in his career as he anchored the 4x400-meter relay to a 5
th place finish at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships. He split 46.5 on a relay that ran a seasonal best time of 3:10.87. He also earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association( USTFCCA) 2
nd Team All-American honors after finishing 10
th in the 400-meters after running 47.27 in the prelims. Earned USTFCCCA All-Region recognition in the 400m and 4x400. He earned 2
nd Team-All Lone Star Conference honors after running the anchor leg of the 4x400 that finished 2
nd running 3:11.57. He qualified for the national championship in the 400m during the first meet of the outdoor season, Wes Kittley Invitational, running 47.07. Ran the anchor leg on the 4x400 that finished 12
th at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in a time of 3:12.92. Ran the anchor leg on the 4x100 that ran 40.66 at the West Texas A&M Last Chance punching their ticket to the national meet.
2017 Indoor: Redshirt.
2016 Outdoor: Became the first runner in WT history to earn All-American honors in two events at both the indoor and outdoor championships in the same year. He ran the third-fastest time in school history (46.17) in the 400-meters to finish fourth in the final before anchoring the 4x400-meter relay to a third place finish where they ran 3:07.56. He earned USTFCCCA First Team All-American honors in the 400 and 4x400 while earning second team honors as the anchor the 4x100 that finished ninth at the championships. He ran four of the seven fastest times in school history in the 400 throughout the season including two of the top three. He is the only man in school history to have run under 47 second four or more times. Earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the 400 and 4x400. He finished second in both the 400 and 4x400 at the Lone Star Conference Championships to help the Buffs to a fourth-place finish. He also ran the fastest 200-meter dash on the team with his time of 21.36 at the WT Classic & Multi. That was the 49
th fastest time in the nation.
2016 Indoor: He became just the third Buff in school history to earn multiple All-American honors at the same NCAA Championships with his performances at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Pittsburg, Kan. He finished sixth in the 400 meters before anchoring the 4x400 relay to a fifth place finish breaking the school and Lone Star Conference record. He won both the 400 and 4x400 at the Lone Star Conference Championships to earn All-Conference honors. His time of 47.03 in the final broke the facility, LSC, LSC championship and school record to blow away the field. That was the fastest-time in the nation entering the NCAA Championships. He was named LSC Male Track Athlete of the Year by the coaches after the meet. He ran the 400 meter leg for the DMR that broke the school and LSC conference record during the Grizzly-Buffalo Clash. The quartet ran an altitude and track adjusted time of 9:47.86 which was the fourth-fastest time in the nation.
Western Texas College: Gyasi was a four-time All-American for the Westerners including back-to-back titles in the 4x400 meter relay. Broke the WT facility record in the 400 meters running 47.00 in 2015.
High School: Graduated from Kumasi Academy in 2013. Represented Ghana in both the 2012 World Junior Championships, West African Junior Championships and African Senior Championships. He won silver at the junior championships while making the semifinal in the world juniors and senior championships.
