Senior (2014-15)
Cross Country: Love earned herself five-straight top-10 finishes and three top-two finishes in her first five meets of the year. She placed second in both the Wagon Wheel Dual (6K) and WTAMU Buffalo Stampede (6K). Prior to the postseason, Love repeated as the LSC's Academic Runner of the Year while being named to the LSC All-Academic team. At the LSC Championships, Love was named the LSC Individual Champion with her first place finish. She went on to place 12th at the NCAA South Central Regional Championship, earning USTFCCCA All-Region honors to qualify herself individualy for nationals. She would finish one spot away from All-American at 41st in the NCAA National Championship. After the season, Love was named the LSC Runner of the Year and was honored as a member of the 2014 LSC Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Junior 2013-14
Cross Country: Love began the year strong as she finished 13th at the Texas Tech Red Raider Open (5K), helping her team to a second-place finish. She followed up with an excellent run at the WTAMU Buffalo Stampede (6K), placing 11th overall with a time of 23:31.14. Love continued to improve at the 25th annual Chili Pepper Cross Country Festival (5K) as she finished 22nd in college division, helping her team to another second-place standing in a stacked competition field. In her final regular season showing, she placed third at the Wagonwheel Dual (6K) with a time of 23:19.48 as the Lady Buffs took home first place. Love went on to be named LSC Academic Runner of the Year before earning LSC All-Conference honors with her ninth place showing at the LSC Championships (6K). She then finished 32nd at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships (6K), running a 22:35. Love then competed at the NCAA National Championships (6K) and ran a 22:57.5, helping her team to a 14th place finish. Following the race, she was the lone runner out of 244 participants to be awarded the prestigious Elite 89 Award, going to the student-athlete with the highest GPA of all competitors competing at the championship event.
Track & Field: At the LSC Indoor Championship, Love scored in both the 3000m (fifth) and 5000m (sixth) events, helping the Lady Buffs to their first LSC title in program history. She would also place in two events at the LSC Outdoor Championship, sixth in the 10,000m and eighth in the 5000m. Love was named to the LSC Academic All-Conference team during both the indoor and outdoor seasons and was a member of the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll in both the fall and spring. She set PRs in all five of her events this year: 4:54.30 (1500m), 5:23.10 (mile), 10:23.46 (3000m), 18:10.57 (5000m) and 37:30.01 (10,000m). Love also broke her own outdoor school record in the 10,000m with that time of 37:30.01. At the conclusion of the school year, Love was named Capital One Academic First Team All-America and Capital One Academic First Team All-District for the XC/T&F seasons combined.
Sophomore 2012-2013
Cross Country: Love ran a 19:03 for a new PR this fall at the SPC Inv. Meet. She improved her 6K time to an impressive 22:55.8 this season at the National meet. Emma placed 11th at the Lone Star Conference meet earning All-Conference honors. Her efforts helped the team win the LSC Championship. Emma went on to contribute to the team success at the NCAA South Central Regional meet and the NCAA National meet where the team placed 11th out of 32 teams.
Track & Field: Emma helped the Lady Buffs place 2nd at both the Indoor and Outdoor LSC Championships with her strong efforts. She ran a 10:40 3K at the Indoor Championships placing 4th. Love raced the 5K and 10K at the LSC Championships earning points for her team by placing 5th in both races. She ran 38:45 for 10K and 18:34 for 5K.
Freshman 2011-2012
Cross Country: Emma ran her personal best in the 5K at OSU with a time of 19:28, helping the team to a 3rd place finish. At the Lone Star Conference Championships Emma ran her personal best in the 6K with a 23:35 assisting the team to a 2nd place finish.
Track & Field: Emma competed in the 1500M for the Lady Buffs in this track season, and ran her best time at the Lone Star Conference Championships with a 4:57, where the Lady Buffs placed third overall. She was named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2011-12 academic year.
High School: Emma attended Johnson High School where she ran cross country and track. She was a three time regional qualifier in cross country, with a personal best of 11:49. Emma ran the 1600M and 3200M in track and was also a three time regional qualifier and a one time state qualifier. Her personal best in the 1600M was a 5:16 and an 11:37 in the 3200M. Love graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Emma is the daughter of Joel Love and Dana Durham . Emma is a San Antonio, TX native. She is a Sports and Exercise Science Major.
