2014: Kwarula made an immediate impact for the Lady Buffs after transferring into WT her junior season. She won two LSC titles (60mH & 4x4) and placed fifth in the 400m at the LSC Indoor Championship, leading WT to its first conference championship in program history. Qualified in the 60mH and 4x400m relay at the NCAA Outdoor National Championship where she finished 10th and 13th, respectively. Kwarula was crowned twice again at the LSC Outdoor Championship in the 100mH and 4x400m relay and finished second in the 400mH. She qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championship and received her first All-America award with a fifth place finish in the 400mH. She also served as an alternate for the 4x1 team and finished 14th in the country in the 100mH. Kwarula was named USTFCCCA All-Region during both indoor (60mH & 4x4) and outdoor (100mH, 400mH, 4x1 & 4x4) competition and received LSC Track Athlete of the Week honors on three separate occasions. She wrote her name in several new school records including (Indoor: 55mH, 60mH & 4x4) and (Outdoor: 100mH, 400mH & 4x4). Outside of WT in 2014, Kwarula also represented her home country of Papua New Guinea at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Sopot, Poland where she finished 29th in the 60mH.

Iowa Central C.C.: Was a national champion in 2013 at Iowa Central C.C. Named Sports Woman of the Year. All-American in the 100m hurdles and 400m hurdles. Earned a degree in business in 2013.

High School: Graduated from Goroka Grammar School in Papua New Guinea in 2006. Was named Athlete of the Year as a senior and competed in the 100m, 200m and 400m.

Personal: Born June 8, 1987. Daughter of Henry and Kelly Kwarula. Has five siblings Lapi, Lynette, Irene, Leanne and Elijah. Majoring in business management at West Texas A&M.
