2017 Outdoor: Earned 3
rd Team All-Lone Star Conference honors after finishing third in the 110-meter hurdles running 14.59 in the finals. He also finished fourth in the 400-meter hurdles at the championships running 54.00 in the final. He ran a seasonal best time of 53.81 in the 400m hurdles en route to winning the event at the West Texas A&M Invitational. Ran a personal best time of 14.54 in the 110m hurdles at the same meet to finish second. Was named to the LSC All-Academic team for his work on the track and in the classroom.
2017 Indoor: Finished eighth in the 60-meter hurdles at the Lone Star Conference Championships running 8.48 in the finals. He ran a personal best time of 8.34 in the prelims. Ran the 400-meter leg on the distance medley relay that finished fourth. He earned Third Team ALL-LSC recognition as part of the 4x400-meter relay that finished third. Finished second in the 60m hurdles at the Grizzly/Buffalo Clash running 8.47. Ran a personal best time of 1:28.22 over 600-meters at the UNM Cherry & Silver Invite. Earned LSC All-Academic honors for the second straight year.
2016 Outdoor: Earned Lone Star Conference All-Academic honors for his work in the classroom and on the track. He finished fifth in the 110-meter hurdles at the LSC Championships running a wind-aided 14.66 in the finals after running a personal-best time of 14.63 in the prelims. He also finished 10
th in the 400-meter hurdles at the championships. Ran a personal-best time of 53.69 in the 400-meter hurdles at the ACU Oliver Jackson Twilight where he finished sixth overall. Was part of the 4x400 that finished second at the WT Classic & Multi running 3:22.24.
2016 Indoor: Was named to the Lone Star Conference Indoor Track & Field All-Academic Team. Finished seventh in the 60m hurdles at the LSC Indoor Championships in a time of 8.51. Ran a personal-best time of 8.41 in the 60m hurdles in the preliminary rounds of the same meet. Ran a personal-best time of 1:17.46 in the 600 yard run at the Pittsburg State Invitational.
2015 Outdoor: Finished sixth in the 400-meter hurdles at the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships running 54.18 in the final. He ran a seasonal-best time of 53.85 in the prelims. Ran a personal-best time of 14.88 in the 110-meter hurdles at the West Texas A&M Twilight.
2015 Indoor: Competed in two meets for the Buffs where he ran personal bests in the 400-meter (53.13), 55-meter hurdles (7.94) and 600-yard dash (1:18.86).
McMurry University: Transferred from McMurry prior to the 2014-15 athletics season.
High School: Graduated from Forney High School in 2013. Competed in the 300m hurdles, 110m hurdles, and 4x400m relay events. All-District athlete in both the 110m and 300m hurdles.
Personal: Born June 17. Son of Danny and Wendy Norris. Has one sibling, Clayton. Majoring in Sports & Exercise Science at West Texas A&M University.
