2016 (Sophomore)

    Indoor: Placed sixth in the shot put at the Lone Star Conference Indoor Championships with a mark of 15.24 meters. He threw a personal best mark of 15.93 meters to fourth at the New Mexico Cherry & Silver Invite. That mark was the sixth best in the conference and 39^th in the nation. He threw over 15 meters in every meet he competed in. Was named LSC Field Athlete of the Week on Jan. 27.

    Outdoor: Became the first WT athlete in program history to win a national title with his throw of 189-4 (57.71m) in the discus. After entering the championships ranked 13^th in the nation he unleashed the sixth-best throw in school history on his fourth attempt to bring home the title. He also earned USTFCCCA First Team All-American honors for his performance in the discus after being named USTFCCCA All-Region before the championships. He finished runner-up in the discus at the Lone Star Conference Championships throwing 164-8 (50.19m). He also finished eighth in the shot put and 10^th in the hammer throw.
