Junior (2014-15)

    Cross Country: Did not compete during the cross country season. Named to the 2014 Fall LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

    Track & Field:
    Provisional qualifier in the indoor 800m & DMR and outdoor 800m
    Broke school record with the indoor DMR team (9:55.03)
    Finished third in the 800m and fourth in the mile at the LSC Indoor Championship
    Finished fifth in the 800m at the LSC Outdoor Championship

Free University of Berlin: Earned a degree from Freie Universität Berlin in Mathematics in six semesters. Schaeffer ran under head coach Markus Liesicke and placed third at the U-20 German Championships and sixth at the German Championships while there. His best times included 1:49.67 (800m) and 3:48.45 (1500m).

High School: Schaeffer graduated from Max-Steenbeck Gymnasium in 2011. He was a North German Champion in the 1500m and placed fifth at the German U-20 Championships. His best time in the 800m was a 1:54.39. Schaeffer graduated with a perfect GPA and reached the state final of the match contest, the "Mathematikolympiade".
