Cross Country: Finished in 210
th place at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships in Joplin, Mo. covering the 10,000 meter course is a personal-best time of 32:58.7. Placed 91
st at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships held at The Range covering the 10,000 meter course in 33:09.8. Finished 20
th at the Lone Star Conference Championships (8k) in a time of 26:51.2. Ran a personal-best time of 25:57.1 on the 8,000 meter course at the Chile Pepper Festival.
Indoor: Participated in two meets for the Buffs during the indoor season. He finished 14
th in the 3,000 meters at the Grizzly-Buffalo Clash in a time of 9:05.89. His time of 16:22.38 in the 5,000 meters at the Pittsburg State Invitational was good enough for 26
th place.
Outdoor: Finished fifth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Lone Star Conference Championships running a personal-best time of 9:57.19. He also finished 15
th in the 5,000-meters running 16:04.71. Ran a personal-best time of 4:24.16 in the 1,500-meters at the WT Classic & Multi. He finished no worse than fifth in all three 3,000 steeplechase races that he ran.
Sophomore (2014-15)
Cross Country: Schleder opened the season finishing 45th at the OSU Cowboy Jamboree (8K) before running a season-best 26:40.40 at Chile Pepper (8K), putting him at 64th. He finished the year with top-30 finishes at the WTAMU Buffalo Stampede (8K) and LSC Championship (8K).
Track & Field:
Finished eighth in 5000m at the LSC Indoor Championship
Finished sixth in the 3000m steeple chase at the LSC Outdoor Championship
Set PRs in the 800m (2:02.78), 3000m (8:59.39), 5000m (15:32.09), and 3000m steeple chase (10:08.04)
Freshman (2013-14)
Cross Country: Placed 48th overall in the 8K at the Texas Tech Red Raider Open with a time of 28:35.7 and 24th overall in the 8K at the WTAMU Stampede with a time of 28:01.5. Finished 12th at the Wagonwheel Dual (8K), crossing the line at 28:07.06.
Track & Field: Schleder competed in the mile, 3000m, 5000m and 3000m steeple chase during his freshman season with the Buffs. His PRs in 2014 included 4:40.48 (mile), 9:18.37 (3000m), 16:02.35 (5000m) and 10:51.04 (3000mS).
High School: Graduated from Flower Mound HS in 2013. Three year letter-winner in cross country and track. Competed in the 5K in cross country and the 1600m and 3200m in track. Regional qualifier in 2012 and 2013. Most Improved award in cross country in 2009.
Personal: Born Nov. 7, 1994. Son of Jay and Lisa Schleder. Has two brothers Ryan (16) and Adam (12) and one sister Courtney (10). Majoring in computer science at West Texas A&M.
