2017 Outdoor:
Finished 16th at the Bryan Clay Invitational in the 5,000-meters running 14:52.83. Ran 32:06.04 in the 10,000-meters at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival to finish 67th. Ran an altitude converted 4:06.78 in the 1,500-meters at the WT Classic & Multi. Was one of two athletes to earn Lone Star Conference All-Academic team honors for the a third consecutive year.

2017 Indoor: Finished seventh in the 3,000-meters at the Lone Star Conference Championships running 8:58.25. He also ran the 1,200-meter leg on the distance medley relay that finished fourth running 10:48.84. Ran a personal best time of 8:41.26 in the 3,000m at the Crimson & Gold Invitational. Ran a personal best time of 4:28.18 in the mile at the GVSU Big Meet Saturday. Named to the LSC All-Academic team for the third consecutive year.

2016 Outdoor: Was named 2016 Lone Star Conference Academic Runner of the Year for his work in the classroom and on the track. He also earned CoSIDA Academic All-District honors for the second consecutive season. He won the 5,000-meters at the LSC Championships running 14:54.78 becoming the first Buff in school history to have run under 15 minutes in the 5k three times in a career. He also finished third in the 10,000-meters running 31:58.25 which is the eighth-fastest time in school history. Ran a personal-best time of 14:47.16 in the 5,000 at the Nike Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays to finish 13th. He set a personal-best time of 4:00.35 in the 1,500-meters at the WT Classic & Multi to finish fifth.

2016 Indoor: Finished fifth in the 5,000 meters running a time of 15:27.78 at the LSC Indoor Championships. Came back the next day to place seventh in the 3,000 meters running 8:50.53 out of the slow heat. Ran the seventh-fastest 5,000 meters in school history at the Pittsburg State Invitational in a time of 15:07.22. Ran a personal-best time of 4:21.15 in the mile at the Grizzly-Buffalo Clash in Alamosa, Colo. Was named to the Lone Star Conference Indoor Track & Field All-Academic Team.

2015 Cross Country: Placed 141st at the NCAA Division II Championships in Joplin, Mo. where he covered the 10,000 meter course in a personal-best time of 31:49.2. Placed 73rd at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships held at The Range in a time of 32:49.0. Earned All-Conference honors for the second consecutive year with an eighth place finish at the Lone Star Conference Championships (8k) in 26:10.7. Opened his season with a 117th place finish at the Chile Pepper Festival (8K) in a time of 25:45.1.

2014 Cross Country: To start the season, Daniel ran to consecutive top-20 finishes in the Texas Tech Open (8K) and Cowboy Jamboree (8K). He then finished 13th at the LSC Championship (8K), running a 26:20.1, earning himself LSC All-Conference honors and helping the Buffs to a second-consecutive team title. Daniel went on to finish 40th at the NCAA South Central Regional Championship (10K), crossing the line at 34:02 and scoring for the team to secure a fourth place finish and second-straight qualification for Nationals as a team. At the NCAA National Championship (10K), Daniel placed 152nd in the country individually. After the season, Daniel was named to the LSC Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll.

 2015 Outdoor: Daniel earned All-Conference honors after winning the 10,000-meters at the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships running a personal-best time of 32:08.13. Ran a personal best time of 14:52.73 in the 5,000-meters at the Bryan Clay Invitational.

2015 Indoor: Finished second in the 5,000-meters and fourth in the 3,000-meters at the Lone Star Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships. Daniels ran a personal best time of 15:14.45 in the 5k at the GVSU Big Meet Invite. He ran a personal best time of 8:45.71 in the 3k the following day at the GVSU Big Meet.

2013 Cross Country: Daniel began his career as a Buffalo this season by placing 30th overall at the Texas Tech Red Raider Open (8K) with a time of 27:46.1. He then competed in the 25th annual Chili Pepper Cross Country Festival and finished the 8K in 27:04.6. Daniel finished 18th overall in the LSC Championship (8K) with a time of 26:38.90. He did not compete in the NCAA South Central Regional meet; however, had an excellent performance in the open race afterwards, earning him a trip to nationals with his team. At the NCAA National Championships (10K), Daniel ran a 34:09.1. He was named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Fall. At the end of the academic year, Daniel was named Capital One Academic First-Team All-District for XC/T&F combined.

2013 Outdoor: Finished 12th in the 5,000-meters at the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships running a personal-best time of 15:51.23. Ran a personal best time of 4:20.80 in the 1,500-meters at the West Texas Open and Multi.

2013 Indoor: Finished 11th in the 3,000-meters at the Lone Star Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships running 9:20.86.

High School: Graduated from Crane high School in 2012, where he competed in the 5K in cross country and 1600m and 3200m events in track. During his senior year, Daniel was the District and Region I Champion in cross country and the District Champion in the 1600m, 3200m, and 1600m relay in track. In the State Championship, he placed 4th in the 1600m and 3200m, 6th in the 1600m relay, and 10th in cross country. Overall as a Golden Crane, he was a 3-time state qualifier in cross country, 2-time state qualifier in the 1600m, and 2-time District Champion in the 1600m, 3200m and in cross country. Member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born August 22, 1993. Son of Jose and Gayla Daniel. Has one brother Josh. Majoring in sports and exercise science at West Texas A&M.
