2014 (Redshirt Sophomore):
Long had a strong season for the Lady Buffs as a redshirt sophomore in 2014, seeing time in 79 during 31 matches with seven starts in the back row. The Andrews native registered seven consecutive starts during the heart of WT’s schedule in late September and early October as she tallied 20 service aces (0.25/set) on 204 attempts with just 16 errors to go along with 131 digs to rank sixth on the team to average 1.66 per frame for a receiving percentage of .970 on the season. Long excelled in the classroom for the Lady Buffs as she was named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll during the fall and spring semester.
 
2013 (Redshirt Freshman):
Long saw limited time on the court for the Lady Buffs during the 2013 season after making the transition to the court from the WT Women’s Golf Team, her only appearance came on September 21^st against Southwestern Oklahoma State in Canyon.  She excelled in the classroom, being named a member of the Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the fall and spring semesters.
 
2012-13 (Freshman):
Long redshirted for the Lady Buff Golf Team during the 2012-13 academic year.
 
At Andrews High School:
Long graduated from Andrews HS (Texas) in 2012, she played multiple positions for the Mustangs under head coach Jennifer Robinson. She was a 1^st Team All-District and Academic All-State selection during her senior campaign. On the golf course, Long was a member of a pair of Texas 3A State Championship teams, placing third at State individually in 2012 and she was a three-time 1^st Team All-State selection.  She also excelled in the classroom, being named a member of the National Honor Society as well as the Spanish Honor Society.
