Biography

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Russell attended Louisiana-Monroe (Louisiana) from 2010-2011 where he played wide receiver for the WarHawks. As a freshman, he caught eight passes for 101 yards while also running the ball 25 times for 100 yards and one touchdown.

HIGH SCHOOL: Russell graduated from John H. Guyer HS (Texas) in 2010, playing most skill positions for the Wildcats under the guidance of head coach John Walsh. He finished his career at GHS with 125 catches for 2,510 yards and 30 touchdowns and with 1,523 yards and 12 touchdowns on 88 carries on the ground, helping lead the Wildcats to a pair of Bi-District Championships.
