Biography

2011: Robinson became one of the best running backs in the Lone Star Conference as a junior in 2011, seeing time in 11 games for the Buffs. Robinson carried the ball 103 times for a total of 669 yards and 11 TD to lead WT’s rushing attack as he averaged 60.8 yards per game while also catching 22 passes for 182 yards and two scores on the season. The Belton, Texas native led the team in scoring with 78 points while ranking second in total offense with 60.8 yards per game. Robinson was named the MVP of the 2012 Kanza Bowl as he carried the ball 24 times for 166 yards and one TD in a WT win over Central Missouri.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Robinson graduated from Blinn Junior College (Texas) in 2011 with an assoicates degree in Kinesiology. He played in the backfield and at strong safety for the Buccaneers under head coach Brad Franchione. He was an All-American at running back for the Bucs as well as an All-Conference selection at safety, helping lead the team to the 2009 NJCAA National Championship along with Heisman winner and current NFL star Cam Newton at quarterback.

HIGH SCHOOL: Robinson graduated from Belton HS (Texas) in 2008, playing in most skill positions for the Tigers under head coach Rodney Southern. He was an All-District and All-Centex selection. He also lettered in Track & Field for two years at BHS, winning the District 13-5A Championship in the long jump and triple jump.

MAJOR: Robinson is majoring in Sports & Exercise Science at West Texas A&M with a minor in Business.
